If bugging out on foot you will dehydrate quickly. Without a proper rehydration regime or contingency you may well suffer! Here, I discuss the methods I would consider in order to rehydrate after arduous effort in an SHTF scenario. #preppers #dehydration #rehydrate Huge thanks to 'ThreeChainLinks' for the opening score to this and most of my videos - link to channel below ruclips.net/channel/UC...

Great information. We use safe practices for long term storage. New friend 😊
Absolutely, got to keep on top of these things. How long do you define as long term storage & how do you rotate? Thanks.
Great info friend.😊
No worries... Cheers to you all.
Great topic. We are all learning to be prepared as possible. New friend 😊
Thanks, yeah they're simple actions that have a big impact.
Yeah that look definitely as a really nice hike at the afternoon and a nice place in the woods as well.
Those little short trips are a good way for me to ensure gear is still functioning. A micro outing
@@PreparednessVeteran That is a good point my friend.
Who did you serve with mate
Airborne Sigs mainly.
Thank you, PV, for sharing and i didn´t know those kinds of nuts existed and how much did you pay for a bag with those soap nuts? And thank you for the tips and i´m going to look and see if i can buy those nuts here in Sweden as well.
Yeah, they're super. Got them on the internet, there are many sites that sell them, cost me around 130SEK.
@@PreparednessVeteran That is a good price for that much
Thank you for sharing my friend and that is a good idea to do like that.

I have a large fluffy beard. Think I can slick that sucker up with some petroleum jelly for an airtight fit?
Using petroleum jelly on your beard with a respirator for a CBRN threat is a bad idea: -It would still result in an ineffective seal. Petroleum jelly is slippery and may not create a lasting, airtight seal around your beard. The respirator needs to fit snugly against your skin for proper protection. -Impaired fit, applying and removing petroleum jelly can disrupt the proper positioning of the respirator, compromising the seal further. -Skin irritation, petroleum jelly can irritate the skin, especially with prolonged use under a respirator. In a CBRN situation, you might need to wear the respirator for extended periods. -Visibility issues, petroleum jelly on your beard could smudge or obscure your vision, especially if it gets on the respirator itself. Look for a complete head/hood respirator solution. In the end, a proper respirator seal is vital for your safety. Don't risk it with unreliable methods like petroleum jelly.
Thanks. I was halfway joking but also curious about it too. Cheers.
Radiological and nuclear seem redundant, unless we're talking about energy weapons like microwave lasers or something. 🤔
Can't live without water. The rest is useless without it.
PV great info. I really need to get a radio, ham radio thanks for sharing.
Hey PV i haven't seen you in a while i need to check my settings. really good video rotation is important on the older stuff. I also right on top in maker so its easier to see when they are put up. Thanks for sharing.
Hey there Tony thanks for stopping by, yeah been dipping in n out over the last months. Will be up n running more often in the next weeks.

Another good video! Am curently researching hormone replacement therapy as a boost to my health and well being.
I would say that HRT isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. If you're considering it to improve your health and wellbeing during menopause I would consulting a doctor/healthcare profession. From what I've read: Benefits: - Relief from Menopause Symptoms (hot flashes, night sweats, dryness & sleep problems. - Improved Bone Health/reduced risk of osteoporosis. - Mood & Cognitive Function (mood swings/anxiety). - Reduces the risk of Certain Cancers (colorectal). However, it's not all beneficial, risks include: -Increased risk of certain cancers (breast cancer is associated with some forms of HRT, particularly those combining estrogen and progesterone. -Blood Clot Risk. -Undesirable side effects - Headaches, tenderness/bloating. I think perimenopause is a cruel transition for any woman and is a hard and often taboo subject not spoken about openly. Either got to deal with it and transition naturally or go down the HRT route, at some point I would have thought that a person cannot take it forever, therefore delaying the whole process. A difficult decision... Just some thoughts... A good chat with the Doc would be in order.
@@PreparednessVeteran Thank you for the info! Yes besides the hot flashes (which probably can be detected from orbit) I have ligament stiffness which makes it hard to move.
Thank you for sharing! Other preppers show off the equipment but they don't bother putting it all together on camera.
Exactly. This is the type of exercise or practise that people need to do. It definitely irons out items that are missing in the loop.
👍👍Good video! Looks like it was a nice day for rucking!
Good all-round exercise, fitness and training.
stored correctly, all good for least ten years past the best before date, ring pull cans can be a bit dodgy as they are more prone to spoiling, Some contents i found dont last as well, such as tinned fruit ... doesnt last as long as tinned veg, ... pork tends to spoil quicker than beef.
Yeah, I think most are not conditioned these days to how long food will actually last, me included. Am in the position at the moment that I'll only go beyond the 2 year point (rotational purposes). Also found that canned fruit deteriorates quicker, including tomatoes, more acidic. Cheers man.
Its funny reading Huples comment, as a gardener thought the year after a hard day cutting hedges etc I spend all evening rehydrating for the next days onslaught. Ive found beer a good hydration thing and a quick nap of about an hour my girlfriend doesn't get it as she's an office worker but it really is about knowing your own body and what preps you would need in a stressful and physical situation all best Will
Thanks dude.... Cheers there.
Good video, thanks for sharing YAH bless !
Thanks Michael, always good to see you here.
Awesome video brother and i agree with you about that one and those can last longer than the exp date is. But it does not hurt to keep an eye on them.
Absolutely. We are fortunate that we are in the position to keep things up to date and rotate now, before anything happens.
@@PreparednessVeteran I agree with you about that one my friend.
As per usual, informative, extremely useful and motivational. Thank you PV, much appreciated. 🙏🙏🙏
No worries, just a quick snippet and reminder to those out there doing their checks.
As PV has done please leave preps in their store packaging. Many have had the oxygen removed. Botulism can be present without any signs so boil and stir for two minutes and open outside wearing a mask. If years expired not a few months obviously. I focus on sprouting seeds rather than tinned vegetables
Don't use teabags from plastic. Use large leaf tea and metal sieve
Thank u very much kind Sir. Highly appreciated!
Those who are ready will have the advantage.
Have a great day - awesome share
Thanks Dave. Summer is around the corner,,, enjoy.
Hi, is the south needle is always a little bit lower than the north?
Always.

In the 90s a bunch of us played a game of tracking a rabbit signal. We could triangulate the signal and find the rabbit. We also had a old guy who jammed channel 10. Our base channel. Someone built a very low powered micro transmitter circuit with 27.075 crystal, powered with cr2450 batteries, that would tuck inside of a sealed tennis ball. Tossed it on his roof and into gutter. He could transmit but received only a loud tone on all channels. It shut him down for months…lol We found out later it shut his wireless phone’s down also. Other club members had mobile frequency, counters with directional antennas. You can sit on the street in your truck, and when somebody use their automatic garage door opener the frequency was grabbed. You used to be able to get universal garage door openers at RadioShack. You flicked in the frequency and now you could open the garage door. we found out by accident that this would also turn those old big screen TVs off and on. The club had younger men in it, that really became a nuisance for this man. Shut his ears down for several months and the boys would drive-by two or 3 AM turn on the TV and open the garage door, then shut it. All of his nonsense stopped shortly after.
That's great - Best comment I've had for ages. Just shows how disruptive something can be. Nice one.
Thank you brother for the information i had no idea about this so that is really good that you mentioned this.
No probs. I've seen a lot of dirty, mis-used, mis-stored and deteriorated respirators in my time. A lot of people neglect CBRN thinking it'll never happen. Have a good weekend.
LIKED
Just wait for their finals to turn into cute little blobs inside the radio 😂😂
Thank you PV. Useful x 10. 👍
No probs, this is a blatant attempt at overt jamming. A more subtle approach would be to transmit white noise.
I'm a total novice in this field PV.
Monkey jamming oh lord there are a lot of monkeys that goes bananas LOL
Nice set-up. Keep trying. The rabid monkeys, um, idk what that's about 😂 but good luck
Someone purposefully jamming the channel
tough thats why you do it buddy buddy
